The Manco Homes Group has been building homes in the Oklahoma City metro area for more than half a century. We believe that high standards and affordability shouldn’t be mutually exclusive for first-time homebuyers. We helped build Oklahoma City before statehood, and we are committed to our legacy of providing quality homes at affordable prices.
The Leonhardt name has been associated with building and building supplies in the Oklahoma City area since the very beginning. Leonhardts served on the sales team for Kiowa Lumber, which provided lumber for the initial construction of Oklahoma City following the Land Run of 1889. The Leonhardts went into the lumber business for themselves shortly after that.
After serving as an officer of H.E. Leonhardt Lumber, Chester Leonhardt decided to go into the building business. In 1957, he formed Leonhardt Enterprises, Inc. In 1964, Howard A. Manwarren joined the company. Together, they formed a dynamic team which built thousands of homes in Oklahoma City, Del City, Yukon, Edmond, Moore, Choctaw, Mustang, Stillwater and the Dallas, Texas area through the 1970s.
In the 1980s, Manco Enterprises joined Leonhardt Enterprises in the building business. With Howard A. Manwarren at the helm, the two companies continued to produce the high standards and affordability that made Leonhardt Enterprises a success.
Centurion Homes, LLC, was formed in 2002 and started building homes in the Mustang area.
Together, the Manco Homes Group consists of Manco Enterprises, Leonhardt Enterprises, and Centurion Homes and is managed by Howard L. Manwarren. The Manco Homes Group continues the legacy of providing quality homes at affordable prices for first-time and move-up homebuyers.
